Graduate Course Welcome Video – Instructional Technology
This explainer video was created as a personalized welcome for students in a graduate-level Instructional Technology course. It introduces me as the instructor and establishes a warm, learner-centered tone for the class. Beyond the content, I intentionally developed the graphics to reflect my cultural identity, reinforcing the importance of representation and authenticity in online learning spaces. This video demonstrates my commitment to inclusive design, community-building, and meaningful digital engagement.
Mourning Into Morning Book Ad
This video advertisement was developed to promote my book Mourning Into Morning: 31 Affirmations and Prayers for Those Who Are Grieving. I crafted the script to reflect the heart of the book, recorded the voiceover to add a personal and authentic touch, and edited the video using visuals and pacing that align with the tone of hope and healing. The final product is a thoughtful, engaging piece designed to connect with viewers emotionally and invite them into the book’s message.
Sketch Bot Outschool Course Promotion (draft)
I designed this playful video to introduce my Outschool class, The Case of the Sketchy Bot. I developed the concept, wrote the script, created the visuals, and produced the final video to capture students' attention and spark curiosity. The goal was to present internet safety in a fun, engaging way by framing it as a mystery adventure, encouraging kids to think critically while earning badges and solving clues
Moments After Loss Youtube Video Series
I created the Moments After Loss video series as a gentle resource for individuals navigating the early days of grief. This series combines comforting visuals, faith-based encouragement, and practical guidance to help viewers feel seen and supported. I wrote the scripts, recorded the voiceovers, and edited each video to provide a calming, compassionate experience that aligns with the tone of my grief support work and my book, Mourning Into Morning. This is the fourth video in the series.
